The Falcon Baseball F.L.I.G.H.T. Camp is a 3-day baseball experience with UWRF Falcon Baseball. This three-day clinic will cover baseball instruction in areas of throwing, fielding, hitting and gameplay. Our staff will emphasize leadership, teamwork, and resilience. All campers will receive a UWRF Baseball shirt and hat with registration.

Additional Details:

• Lunch: Supervised lunch break will be 12:00-12:30 daily. Campers should bring their own lunch and drinks. No refrigeration will be available, so plan accordingly. Refilling stations will be available on site and throughout the day.
• Equipment needed: Baseball bat, glove, helmet, bag, cleats, tennis shoes
• Campers are encouraged to wear baseball pants and belt.
• Footwear: Campers should wear cleats, pack tennis shoes in case of inclement weather and camp is moved indoors.

'Defy the Odds' STEM Camp

Ages 8-15

August 11-14, 2025

9:00 – 4:00 PM daily

The ‘Defy the Odds’ STEM Baseball Camp is a blended learning camp that immerses campers into the game of baseball, both on the field and in the classroom. Falcon Baseball will partner with academic representatives from Physics and Data Science at UW-River Falls to both teach ‘on-field’ fundamentals of the game, and peel back layers of the Science of Baseball. Additionally, campers will interact with current technology used and evaluated at the collegiate and professional levels of the game. Campers will receive on-field instruction, gameplay and classroom sessions to walk away from this clinic with applicable knowledge and skills to further their growth in Science, Technology Application and Baseball.

$400 – Includes Jersey Top/Hat

Registered Participants should bring:

• Glove, Bat, Baseball Equipment
• Baseball Cleats AND tennis shoes
• Bag Lunch/Snacks

Fall High School Prospect Camp

October 12, 2025 (rain date October 19, 2025)

The 2025 UW-River Falls High School Prospect camp offers a blended experience of instruction and game-play. All participants will receive verified individual metrics and an opportunity to showcase their skills in front of the UWRF Falcons baseball coaching staff. A UW-River Falls baseball t-shirt will be provided for all registered participants.

Cost & details:

$100 Position only / Pitcher only

Position only registrants will participate in an instructional block (speed & agility, defensive instruction/offensive instruction & compete in 1 game).

Pitcher only registrants will participate in an instructional block (speed & agility/defensive instruction/pitcher specific practice & compete in 1 game).

$125 Two-way (Position & Pitcher)

Two-way registrants will participate in instructional block (speed & agility, defensive instruction, offensive instruction & both pitch/hit in 1 game).

Registered participants should bring:

• Baseball pants & belt
• Flat shoes for hitting in turf batting cages
• Molded or turf shoes for on-field play. All players must wear turf shoes or molded on Field​
• Lunch & water
• All baseball equipment (gloves, bats, helmets, etc.)

Registered participants will receive:

• UWRF Baseball t-shirt
• Updated position specific metrics (provided post-clinic via email)
• Speed and Agility metrics (ALL)
• 60 yrd. Dash
• Vertical Jump
• pro agility (5-10-5) *
• Position Metrics
• Infielders/Outfielders (throwing velocity)
• Catchers (throwing velocity, pop times)
• Pitchers (throwing velocity, biomechanical pitching evaluation)
• Offensive Instruction
• Players will go through an offensive workout which will include stations featuring machine work, batting practice and tee work.
• Defensive Instruction
• Players will go through a defensive skills workout which will focus on defensive positioning, arm path, glove skills and footwork.

8:30 am – Check-in (check assigned team & pick up clinic t-shirt)

9:00 am – Welcome Address

9:15 am – AM Instructional Block (warm up followed by: Offensive skills / Speed and Agility / Defensive skills); Defensive testing will occur as part of pre-game activity of on field game-play.

9:45 am – Game 1 & 2 (9:15 throwing & pre-game activity begins)

12:45 pm – pm instructional block begins (warm up followed by: Offensive skills / Speed and Agility / Defensive skills); Defensive testing will occur as part of pre-game activity of on field game-play.

1:15 pm – Game 3 & 4 (12:45 throwing & pre-game activity begins)

4:30 pm – Conclusion of Camp

• Turf Shoes or molded cleats only​​ (No metal spikes)
• No glass containers on the field or in the dugouts​​
• No sunflower seeds on the field or in the dugouts​​
• Weighted balls and J-bands used only in designated areas​​ (weighted balls into concrete dugout or grandstand - J-bands clipped to metal eyebolts)
